Charities promoting earlier diagnosis of stomach & gullet cancer have combined together to promote this campaign, and to support the Department of Health's Be Clear on Cancer campaign.

The Oesophageal Patients Association
The members of the OPA are former patients who hold regular meetings across the UK to help new patients and their families to come to terms with their illness and to cope with treatment.

The Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre
The Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre (BWoSCC) was officially opened in February 2008. The Beatson provides all the radiotherapy, and much of the chemotherapy, for patients with cancer in Scotland's west. We offer our service and care to 60% of Scotland?s population of 2.8 million people.

Cancer Support Scotland (previously Tak Tent) offers those living with cancer and their friends and relatives free complementary services such as massage, reflexology and reiki (amongst others), support groups for anyone affected by cancer (including conTAK, specifically for young people), talking therapy where counsellors listen and talk to those affected by cancer about their fears/anxieties along with the centre providing information and support.
