Beyoncé’s Backup Singer Battling Esophageal Cancer

Singer Tiffany Monique Riddick, who is one third of Beyoncé’s amazing trio of background vocalists The Mamas, has been diagnosed with early-stage esophageal cancer. Bey recently took to her website to send well wishes to Tiffany, who has been a part of her dedicated team since 2007.

One in two people will develop cancer at some point in their lives.

I'm sure everyone has woken up to the rather staggering news that one in two people will develop cancer at some point in their lives, according to the most accurate forecast to date from Cancer Research UK. This new estimate replaces the previous figure, which predicted that more than 1 in 3 people would develop cancer at some point in their lives.
