Mary Ritchie is running two marathons in 2026 in memory of three people she lost to oesophageal cancer: her dad James, her uncle Ally Noble, and her friend Diane Doig.

She’ll be taking on the Strathearn Marathon on 14 June and the Amsterdam Marathon on 18 October, raising money for OCHRE along the way.

Having seen the impact of this disease on so many people close to her, Mary wanted to do something that could make a real difference. Two marathons certainly qualifies.
