Sheena McDowall is taking on the Glasgow Kiltwalk in April 2026 in memory of her dad, Thomas Grant.

Thomas was diagnosed with oesophageal cancer just after Father’s Day in 2022. He passed away six months later, in January 2023. In that short time, Sheena and her family saw first-hand how devastating this disease can be.

The Kiltwalk is Sheena’s way of honouring her dad and supporting the research, awareness, and care that she hopes will give other families more time and more options than her family had.
